COVID updates

To ensure the well-being of our visitors and staff, Gus Fisher Gallery is following some straightforward protocols during this time to make everyone’s visit to the gallery an enjoyable and safe experience.

 

Alert Levels 3 & 4

Gus Fisher Gallery is closed to the public. Our staff work from home during this time, so please still get in touch with us at gusfishergallery@auckland.ac.nz if you have any questions. Kia kaha and stay safe Aotearoa. 

 

Alert Level 2

Gus Fisher Gallery is open to the public with the following restrictions in place:

Contact Tracing and Social Distancing

  • A QR Code compatible with the Ministry of Health’s COVID-19 Tracer App is displayed at the entrance to Gus Fisher Gallery. Please sign in if you have the app.
  • If you require manual sign-in, our friendly invigilator has a manual sign-in sheet at the front desk. These details will be securely stored and only used for the purposes of contact tracing should that be necessary. You will be asked to provide your name, phone number and email address. Find out more about the need for contact tracing and the process involved as advised by the Government and Ministry of Health here.
  • We ask that you please maintain a 2 metre distance from anyone not in your party while visiting the gallery.

Hygiene Practices

  • In accordance with the Government’s new Alert Level 2 rules, all visitors to Gus Fisher Gallery are required to wear a face mask. Our staff will also be wearing masks.
  • Staff will be routinely sanitizing frequently touched surfaces throughout the gallery on a half hourly basis, including door handles and headphones.
  • Multiple dispensers of hand sanitizer will be available on entry to the building and in our gallery spaces for you to use.
  • Please do not visit the gallery if you are feeling unwell.
