Lisa Beauchamp

Curator of Contemporary Art

Lisa Beauchamp joined Gus Fisher Gallery in 2018 and has been responsible for developing the gallery’s identity and programme of exhibitions and events as a leading centre for contemporary art in Tāmaki Makaurau. Since the reopening of the gallery in 2019 following upgrades to its heritage interior, Lisa has brought works by internationally renowned artists to Aotearoa New Zealand for the first time, and supported major commissions by Aotearoa artists. Guided by intersectional feminist frameworks, Lisa takes a fluid approach to curating with a strong commitment to the idea that galleries can be enjoyable, reflective and self-directed areas of experience.

Stacey ogg

Development Manager

Stacey joined Gus Fisher Gallery in 2022 and is responsible for developing the gallery’s income stream through the generation of philanthropic support and sponsorship. With a career spanning over 15 years within public galleries, she has a wealth of international experience in strategic engagement, relationship management and income generation. Stacey completed her BFA at Elam School of Fine Arts followed by an MA in Arts Management. She is committed to supporting the next generation of arts professionals into the sector and has a fledging collection of international contemporary art. Coincidently, Stacey and Lisa worked together at the National Portrait Gallery, London.

Nina Dyer

Exhibitions Manager

Introducing Nina Dyer, Gus Fisher’s latest appointment as Exhibitions Manager. With a background in Art History and previous experience at Adam Art Gallery Te Pātaka Toi and Enjoy Contemporary Art Space, she joins us from Depot Artspace, where Dyer was Exhibition Curator and Manager. Dyer is also a collective member of artist-run space RM and a Commissioning Editor of Vernacular Criticism, and has curated for Ilam Campus Gallery and MEANWHILE. Her writing has been published by The Art Paper, Aotearoa Digital Arts Network, and local galleries.

Tara Parsons

Public Programmes and Engagement Officer

Tara Parsons originally joined Gus Fisher Gallery as the Gallery & Engagement Assistant in early 2022, before taking on her new role as Public Programmes and Engagement Officer. Tara is passionate about facilitating an accessible public programme that connects new audiences with contemporary art. She joins us from her previous role at Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki.

Shania pablo

Gallery & Engagement Assistant

Shania Pablo joined Gus Fisher Gallery in 2023. They are currently a PhD candidate at The University of Auckland, writing their thesis on lesbian contemporary art and new materialism. Shania enjoys connecting with other people through a shared interest in art and hopes to share their passion for art with others as the new Gallery & Engagement Assistant.

Colette Morrison

Gus Fisher Gallery Intern

Colette Morrison joined the team as the 2024-2025 Gus Fisher Gallery Intern. She is currently a Master’s student at Waipapa Taumata Rau The University of Auckland studying taonga Māori in international museum collections. She brings to the role her previous experience working at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and the Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki. Colette is passionate about contemporary art in Aotearoa and the power of art to challenge and connect communities.
