Saturdays 10am – 4pm
We are closed every Sunday and Monday.

Walking

Shortland Street can be accessed from 33 Fort Street via public escalators, which lead up to 34 Shortland Street. Alternatively we recommend walking from Customs Street up through Emily Place. The gallery is located at the top of the hill just beyond the Lumley Centre.

 

Accessibility

Wheelchair access is via a ramp to the left of the building, you are welcome to call us on +64 9 923 6646 or email gusfishergallery@auckland.ac.nz for assistance with this entrance. There are two accessible car parks in front of the gallery. An accessible toilet is located on the gallery’s lower level. We are committed to ensuring a positive experience for all – please contact us with any queries ahead of your visit, or ask a member of our friendly team if we can assist.
 

 

Public transport

We are an eight minute walk from Britomart Station, with several bus routes nearby. Explore public transport options here.

 

Parking

Paid parking is available on Shortland Street directly opposite the gallery.
